Major or Minor Health issue? |
Hello every one! I am a fifteen year old boy. For the past 4 days I have had lower belly pains (feels like muscle soreness) and also, I seem to have a feeling similar to muscle soreness in my abdominal regions. I could not be mistaking this for appendicitis could I? The reason I think it is muscle soreness, is because I have had it for over four days ever since I have started lifting and playing with a heavy super ball (it is 3.5 foot feet in diameter). There is no reflex pain. I have not had diahrea. The soreness is not too bad at all... MY OPPINION IS.THAT IT MAY ALL BE ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR NEW WORKOUT ROUTINE.IF YOUR NEW TO LIFTING YOU COULD BE SORE FOR TWO TO THREE WEEKS.ITS ALSO POSSIBLE YOU COULD HAVE PULLED A MUSCLE.YOU NEED TO TELL YOUR PARENTS.THEY CAN PROBALY HELP MORE THAN ANYONE. It is most likely not appendicitis. Ask yourself, would I like a cheeseburger? If the answer is yes, then no, it is not appendicitis. I would see a physician. No one on these forums can diagnose your condition. I'm an EMT and even with my knowledge through years of the job, it's hard to even guess what it is without physically examining you. Anyhow, it sounds like it could be a hernia which is often caused by lifting heavy things improperly and I'm sure you don't pay attention to lifting properly when you're playing. Like I said before, the best person to ask is your doctor. Although they might not always know either, I had a similar problem when I was in high school and never found out what it was. |
