Abdominal pain and bleeding?

For the past three months I have had LLQ pain which has increased in severity -- the pain now radiates upward in a line to my belly button. The pain feels like a heaviness or weight in my abdomen. From the middle of May until the middle of June, I passed tissue-like clots streaked with blood. I have bad lower back pain, am very fatigued. The pain sometimes "flares" up and becomes even worse.
Last night I went to the emergency room, because of tingling/tenderness on my right side from scalp down to my arm. I blacked out from the pain and was unconcsious for a couple of minutes.
The problem?
I have had pelvic exams, blood tests, pregnancy tests, pelvic and abdominal ultrsasounds and they have all found nothing. The ER doped me up on Demoral and sent me home, saying that nothing was wrong.
I am seeing an internal specialist tomorrow and would appreciate any personal experiences, thoughts or questions which could lead me and my doctor to discovering what is wrong.

Thank you for all of the answers so far. As I said in the question, my pelvic ultrasound came back normal, so it cannot be cysts or tumors. I saw a gyneocologist today who said that it cannot be endo (although I have my doubts) and that I should not come back to her or any other gyneocologist for pelvic pain.
I am trying to brainstorm for the appointment with the internal specialist tomorrow, so I am looking for possible gastrointestinal causes. Thanks again.

This sounds like a Gynecology issue. You could possibly have Endometriosis. I have recently been diagnosed with it and I have a lot of the symptoms that you have. I have had 3 children and never had a problem with it before but about a year ago I started having SEVERE abdominal/back pain, HEAVY, irregular menstrual cycles, fatigue. I had exploratory laproscopic surgery in January and they confirmed the diagnosis. (That's really the only true test to confirm it.) You should really see your GYN.

fybroids or cyst.......you need to go to the doctor ASAP if you are passing blood clots the size bigger than a quater you need immediate attention. Also check out WEBMD for additional info.

I hope this wasn't in the US. Other countries may treat their patients like this, but in the US we hire them. We are free to consult whomever we want and we don't have to accept any one diagnosis or treatment plan. I would report that dr.

Consider, if the internist can't find the trouble, seeing a neurologist--that crazy tingling on your right side has neurology written all over it.

This problem could be caused by a number of things.I implore you to pursue this with your doctor,and if you don't get any satisfaction with one,see another.This is a great board,but I doubt if there are many doctors on it.Please get professional help with this.God bless.

What is you age?? Any problems with your bowels??Diarrhea or constipation?? Any fever,chills or sweats?? Is the pain occurring after moving your bowels or before?? How is your vision?? Any changes?? Headaches?? Numbness or tingling?? You did mention that you experienced tingling/tenderness on your right side of your scalp that radiated ( spread ) to your right arm.This is could possibly indicate a neurological issue.Has that ever happened before?? Do you have a history of a heart murmur or other heart problems?? It is quite possible that more than one thing is going on. I hope that this helps and Good Luck !!!

I think you should make an appointment with a gastroenterologist to see if there's any GI problems going on. Any time you have bleeding like that, it's pretty serious. i had some serious pain that made me pass out about a year ago and it turned out to be an intestinal blockage. i was sick for a week before i found out what it was. I had to have a portion of my small intestine removed. I hope you get better. let me know what happens.
