Recovering from an AVM rupture?

Anyone out there recovered from an AVM rupture (Arteriovenious Malformation) in the brain, with paralysis. And how long was your recovery and what method did they use to get rid of it. ex: radiation, brain surgery?

my husband has an AVM, discovered 2 years ago but never has ruptured... email me and we can talk about it.. I'm actually interested in other people's stories. and what does happen if it does rupture. sonotech02@yahoo.com
Right now he is undergoing surgeries, he's had 7 in the past 2 years to try to get rid of the AVM, but being so large they have to do pieces at a time...

My daughter had an AVM rupture 5 years ago. She was in a coma for 3 weeks and had right side paralysis for 2 weeks. I think it all depends on where the rupture occured.

She still had 2 other AVMs and we did gamma knife to "scar" the remaining AVMs. Report It

I have an AVM. MY AVM actually ruptured like 9 months ago, and i was rushed to the hospital to undergoe a massive surgery. I was 18 at the time (well, i'm 19 now).

If you need support, i'm all 'ears' :)

You can email me at "Hoticeflames@hotmail.com" Report It
