Scar tissue on colon?

I have went through a colonoscopy an was told i have scar tissue from other surgeries I had years ago an this is what was causing me to have trouble an pain in my left side,I also have one aretery vein malformation so the doctor put me on some medicine called glycolax which is not working to good at all, I haven't been back to doctor since I haven't had luck with the med ,but I was wondering if there is a way doctors can remove scar tissue in this area without a colon resection? For as the AVM I was told this is just something I inheretied because my mom does have it an I was wondering if this would cause problems having surgerie to remove scar tissue? After the colon scope the doctor ask my mother if I had a surgeon an she said no an then when I talked to him he said well lets try a low residue diet an this medicine glycolax an keep him informed on how it does, and he said no doctor no surgeon in his town would want to touch it so now I'm confused !

Wouldn't having surgery to remove scar tissue just cause more scar tissue when it heals?
