Well, I can't be sure from your description, but it sounds like a CT angiogram, which is when they inject a radiopaque dye into you (it shows up as white on x-rays) then do a CT scan and they can see a map of the blood vessels in whatever area they're looking at, which would allow them to take a look at your AVM. |
