it is clinically termed as LEFT FRONTAL AVM WITH ANEURYSM by neuro people This is a structural anatomic problem and acupuncture has no effect on structural problems. This is definitely a problem that can only be corrected by conventional medical means.
AVM is the medical shorthand for aterio-venous malformation, a tangled web of abnormal blood vessels, that are between arteries and veins in their structure. Aneurysm means that one of them has developed a bulge and could rupture at any time. Sticking needles in any portion of your body will NOT change that structure in any way.
In the meantime, avoid anything that will raise your blood pressure, such as exercise, straining during bowel movement, emotional stress, or having sex (sorry about that).
I am a believer in acupuncture for many maladies, but this is not one of them.
Best wishes on this. My sincere advice: Do not get fooled by what alternative medicine folks suggest. An aneurysm CANNOT be cleared without a surgery. You should act as early as possible to avoid spontaneous rupture of the aneurysm which would be problematic.

Websters dictionary - aneurysm - A permanent abnormal blood-filled dilation of a blood vessel resulting from disease of the vessel wall.
So there is a blood vessel and a portion of it has turned into a little balloon (for whatever reason) and acupuncture is taking a tiny little needle and passing it in and out at certain nerve junctures somewhere on the surface of the body.
Do you see any connection whatsoever? You might as well find someone to do the, "laying on of hands" or maybe pray over the situation. They will gladly take your money and of course it will require many, many treatments to accomplish. |
