How does your hospital treat ards?


this is for mds rts or rns. I have used flolan, ards net, inverse ratio... just curious about diff opinions.

I don't want articles, the place where i worked at wrote a lot of the articles posted... i am now at a small town hospital, and tryhing to explain to the pumonologist that the rest of the world knows how to treat ards... and what his vent settings are for patients cause ards.....

im just curious of what methods the other hospitals use... personal experiences

I've been reading alot about ARDS because I have 2 patients that I'm taking care of right now in the ICU that are not responding to any treatment. There are alot of differing opinions by various experts. It seems that there is nothing that has proven to be effective all of the time. Here are a few links for you.
