Somehow I doubt that, as it's indoors and is a place of business and the law extends to all workplaces that are indoors. MSPs are not above the law.

well did you know an old law from years back it is still legal to shoot a scot with a bow and arrow,so get going robin.get your arrows and in your words shoot the hypocritical b*****ds.

i am a heavy smoker but all these smoking bans don't bother me.what i object to is they blame secondary smoking for deaths.vehicle fumes cause deaths but are they going to ban driving.put fifty smokers in a room for a couple of hours with the doors and windows shut and they will all come out alive.try that with one exhaust pipe and see how many do

They had to contact the smokers room as they didn't get enough votes to push the ban through originally. The concession was a fully equipped smoking area.

You can still smoke in certain institutions though.

Riggs you are correct you can still shoot a true Scotsman from the bridge in York with a bow and arrow, as you can also beat your drunken wife with a stick.

I would like to see in practise if one would escape prosecution.
