Aids: will there ever be a cure or vaccine?

also is it true that aids started from a man having sexual intercourse with a monkey. then having sexual intercourse with another person therefore starting the spred of aids? is there any info proving this stuff corect? or is it not truely known how aids started?

I heard that a cure for AIDS was just found the other day. I actually think it just keeps the AIDS dormant and allows T-cells to continue growing. But i dont really know, just look at Magic Johnson

I'm not familiar with how AIDS got started, I can't answer that. As to whether or not there will be a cure, I think it's possible. However, I wonder if the pharmacuetical companies will take such a cure public if they do find it. There's no money in a cure, but a steady stream of income from the treatments of the symptoms.

The version I have heard is that the HIV was a stain developed for chemical warfare in some country's lab(I don't want to take names here) and it just leaked out of the lab...
