Fiber also strengthens the lining of the colon and helps to provide fuel for the body. It also helps to keep you from getting constipated. Some definite benefits, if you ask me! Yes. It fills you up without adding extra calories. Also, it acts as a diluting agent which slows down the absorption of calories. |
