Do sleeping aid pills make you gain weight?

im about to see my doctor so that he can prescribe me some and i wanted to know if any of you have gained weight with using any sleeping pills?

There are some that made the news recently. People were actually sleepwalking into their kitchens and eating without any memory of it. I think it may have been Ambien. Your doctor will advise you about any such side effects of the medication he prescribes for you. Let him know that weight gain is a concern for you.
