A question about being nervous!? |
Well first let me say that I have depression, im bi-polar and i have adhd. I have not been around many pepole in the last year and a half. I have been depressed since i was 11 [im 15 now]. When i do go outside, or meet someone new i get really irritated and nervous and i think pepole are always looking at me funny. When i get nervous my whole body starts sweating [ including my hands] so i can not shake anyones hand when i meet them lol. And my eyes start twitching, and i knoww that most pepole think im on crack. How can i meet new pepole and go outside the house without being irritated and nervous?? Any advice?? thanks Congratulations because you have given the first step that is accepting it. You are too young don't missattend this problem, ask your parents to take you to some professional help, maybe some medication will really help, my mom got her first sympthoms when she was a teenager an nobody helped her and her life was misserable, if 60 years ago someone had cared about her and taken her to a professional her life would've been totally different. If you don't have confidence in your parents ask a teacher but do something about it. Medicine has advanced a lot. Take baby steps. Don't just go right into a mall or somewhere and start trying to meet people. Start off maybe meeting someone new over at the home of someone you feel comfortable around. Bipolar - Manic Depression I know how you feel! |
