I want to know if.......? |
i have anxiety and depression, but i also have symptoms of ocd and adhd... is that possible for me to have all of these disorders or am i going crazy due to the anxiety...i try talking to my dr but its kinda hard since they only give me 15 mins for a visit and they keep giving me strong drugs that knock me out can anyone help me? Maybe you should ask your doctor to prescribe cognitive therapy to go along with all those psychoactive drugs. Your thinking and perception are probably distorted. I don't think you can trust your judgement about your condition right now. Well personally i dont think the drugs actually help you they just "pause" th problem , if you wil, and you can end up getting an addiction.. i reccomend you see a therapist , or phsychiatrist, whos a specialist in anxiety...i think most of it is phsycological and drugs wont help! you should be talking to your doc longer than that. you should not be timed. That is wrong on their part. Find another doc that will listen to what is happening. I know you might need some meds but them just giving you something to knock you out is just not the answer. Please take my advice and see another doc! you might want to call your doctor up and let them know that you need to talk about some things with them and they will usually give you a bigger appt time then 15 minutes.Let the doctor know that the meds your on are knocking you out.Thye might have something more mild that wouldnt do that.Good luck hun! Find a doctor that is prepared to spend time with you. Don't give your $50 to a run of the mill doctor that doesn't care. Get another doctor. One who is willing to spend a little time with you. Most of them are there for the money and just rush you through the exam. Good luck |
