What is it called when a person tries EVERYTHING in her power! to get attention...&?

When she doesn't get it, she raises hell? My friend's sister has SEVERE ADHD & Bipolar. She says a million words a minute, & she bounces all over the place NONSTOP. She's 17, going on 18.

She pretty much likes to put on a LIVE comedy show & make people laugh by brutally insulting others. She basically just does what SHE wants to do, & she neve does what people in authority tell her to do. She's a BIG risk-taker. She's the type of person who finds it thrilling to jump off a 20-story building. She always tries to pick unnecessary fights with people & she's wildly sexually promiscuous. She's so evil that she'll break your skull in half & then laugh. Many people say she's a danger to herself & others. She has a 1-yr. old baby that she treats like a basketball by tossing her around, yelling @ her, beating on her, feeding her nothing but fast food. She's trying EVERYTHING in her power to kill her baby & herSELF. So my friend (29 yrs. old), who is her sister, is in care of the baby now.

Some Manic or Hyperactive people are like that. Bipolar (Mania) is usually considered more severe than ADHD (hyperactivity).

I work for a mental health agency and I honestly don't know how a psychiatrist can tell one from the other if a person is supposed to have both ADHD and Bipolar.

ADHD is usually diagnosed in children and they don't usually diagnose Bipolar until someone is about 20 (but they are more children being diagnosed with Bipolar these days). They might drop the ADHD diagnosis when she gets a little older. She probably has both diagnoses because she is very young and the ADHD meds didn't fully control the behavior.

drama queen

It's usually called attention seeking but if it is as bad as you say then it sounds more like megalomania or a bad case (very) of antisocialism. Either that or she has very bad mental problems, could be genetic or a hormone imbalance. I'd ring someone up to take the baby away if I were you.

It could be attention deficit syndrome.Maybe she has been through bad times in her childhood or she felt unloved and uncared due to which she may have some metal problems but im sure it can be treatable, she needs to check with a psychiatrist but not by making her feel that she is a psycho or something but my making her feel that people who got to the psychiatrist actually come out feeling better and calmer and their life is more at ease.
Peace!

emotionally stressed-up & now seeking for notice...?

big attention seeker! but still she needs help...she's a risk in everything...

If she has Bipolar then it's obvious a severe case of Mania. Is she prescribed medication? and is she taking it. A lot of Bipolar people like the Manic stage-it's like taking speed, so they stop their medication & all hell breaks loose. Is she monitored by a doctor or mental health team? If she's so out of control & you fear for her safety then I would get help right now-she may need to be hospitalised until she's stable. I'm quite worried about the baby though & so should you, make sure she's stable before she resumes parental responsibility. Don't waste another minute & get her assessed for everyones sake. If you have to call for an ambulance, explaining the state she's in.

It's the ADD/ADHD.....

I do know a kid who EVERYONE thinks has add or(this is a joke) he's on crack.

ThAt girl sounds like an extreme version.

Could you and your friend get her to get help? she's CLEARLY a threat to others, and it seems to her self.

my friend sitting next to me said attention whore (no offense)
