HELP?!?! what do i do?!?

i can never concentrate. i dont have ADD or ADHD. but i can never stay concentrated on my homework. it takes me twice as long as it should. what do i do?! please help.

you might have add/adhd and should see your doctor to check into that.

but in the mean time, do what i do.
basically, ground yourself.
like if you have homework, but you keep getting distracted by the computer, or something just tell yourself that you can't get on the computer until you are done with your homework, and follow through with it.

you should go to your doctor and see what they say if anything at all

well if u dont have them, then i really wouldnt worry, ya just find ya homework boring and would rather be doin summit else like most kids do

I have the same problem. I blame it on a short attention span.

But maybe you should get tested for ADD or ADHD.

It's never easy to concentrate on your homework, because it's not something anyone really wants to do. I say you motivate yourself to focus and take short breaks in-between so that your brain can rejuvinate. Also, break up your homework into sections. Start with something that might take longer time than others, so that you can just get that out of the way. And once you are done with it, you can slowly relax your way by doing the less difficult tasks. Also, NEVER procrastinate!

Don't assume you have ADD or ADHD. Like I said earlier, EVERYONE doesn't like to study and so they prefer to focus on other things. You just need motivation. Motivation is the key to concentration.

most likely because what youre doin doesnt interest you... if ur not interested you sometimes get easily distracted....

Try to do exercises , that helps the blood to flow to your brain which helps your focus. Dont worry we all are different. Some times it would take me hours to understand somethings when compared to my friends who is fast.
