SSI and Residential treatment?

Hi I have a 11year old son that has been diagnosed as ADHD and Bi Polar and Borderline personality after 2 years of fighting with his insurance and his Doctors and after writing a letter to Govenor Crist they finally approved him for a 12 month residential program, question is what do I do about his SSI Benefits? since he will be coming home some weekends and i still ahve to provise clothes ect. will I still be the payee or will it be the home he is in?

Talk to the social worker at the facility he will be at.. They probably have experience with these matters. If not, maybe get some advice from a legal advice site--try gooogle..

Call your eligibility worker and explain the situation to him/her. Dont just let it go, because if you do, you could be in trouble later on for receiving benefits you shouldnt have had. Good luck.
