Adult ADHD treatment question.. please reply?

I was diagnosed with adult ADHD last year. I am 19yr. old female. I have never been on medication for this, but would like to try some. I've been in therapy for many years, but I still have all the problems that come along with adhd.. my old doctor did not like to prescribe stimulants and instead put me on an anti-depressant (which I hated and stopped taking)..

anyway, I made an appointment with a new therapist to discuss my ADHD and anxiety. Is there any proper way to ask to try medication for this? (concerta or adderall).

All serious advice and personal experiences with these medications are appreciated!

try strattera no actual stimulants also go to adhd diet this is more important than meds turn off tv after 4 pm and engage in constructive activities
