Important question about ADHD?

I have a friend he is 17 year old, his adopted mom is not a nice lady, she only adopted him for the money thats what she always say ( the state gives her 500 dollars month), anyways she takes him 2 an ADHD th docotr does not ask the kid any question, she goes with out the adopted mom tells her. The boy styed with me for 1 month he did not take his madecine AT ALL, and he was fine, he had no problem with nothing, I belive that he really does not have ADHD, becuse my husband have ADHD and he does not take any madication, and u can tell that he needs it. So the adopted mom told him that she is going 2 take make an appotimnt and for a blood test so they can make sure he is taking his madecine, she tells him if he was not taking it she is going 2 put him in park side9mental institution), and I know she can bcz she did his siter that way.. now after I told u the story my ? is:
shoudl the docotr test the boy for ADHD, or should she just go with what the adopted mom tells her? what should I do

I was thinking about hiring a lawyer? parent with kids who have ADHD what does the doctor do every visit? also when he takes his medicine he gets really sick!!! Help plz

THE BAD PART ABOUT IT IS PARENTS ARE PUTTING THEIR CHILDREN ON MEDICATION WHEN THEIR ONLY PROBLEM IS BEING AN ACTIVE KID. MY YOUNGER SISTER IS ADHD AND YOU CAN TELL. SHE CAN NOT FOCUS AND SHE TELLS ME HERSELF IT IS HARD TO CONTROL HERSELF. NOW SOME CHILDREN ARE JUST ACTIVE SO DONT DRUG THEM TO TAKE THE JOY OF BEING A CHILD AWAY. YOU REALLY SHOULD GO TO THE AUTHORITIES. IT IS NOT RIGHT FOR ANY CHILD TO SUFFER AND HE IS SUFFERING. THOSE DRUGS TAKE THE LIFE OUT OF YOU. IF HE WAS FINE WITHOUT DRUGS THEN HE CAN FUNCTION IN SOCIETY WITHOUT THEM. IT IS NOT FAIR THAT HE HAS BEEN GIVEN A FALSE HANDICAP. THE THING IS SHE GETS MORE MONEY BY ALLOWING THE STATE TO BELIEVE HE HAS ADHD. THE DOCTORS ARE PROBABLY JUST LISTENING TO WHAT THE ADOPTED MOTHERS SAYS ABOUT THE YOUNG MANS BEHAVIOR. I SUGGEST YOU HAVE HIM GO SEE ANOTHER DOCTOR. HE IS CLOSE TO 18 AND IF HE HAS ADHD THEN SHE CAN CONTINUE GETTING MONEY FOR HIM LONGER. JUST SUPPORT HIM AND BE THEIR FOR HIM AND LET HIM NOW YOU ARE FIGHTING WITH HIM AND NOT AGAINST IT. IT SEEMS AS THOUGH HE TRUST YOU BECAUSE HE HAS CONFIDED IN YOU. AND UNFORTUNATELY A LOT OF THE TESTING FOR ADHD IS FROM WHAT THE PARENTS SAY AND INTERACTION WITH THE CHILD. THE DOCTOR SEES THE CHILD FOR MAYBE AN HOUR AND THE PARENT HAS THE CHILD THE OTHER 23 SO THEY ASSUME PARENTS WANT WHAT IS BEST FOR THE CHILD.

PLEASE, I beg you to anything you can to help this child. Especially if when he is forced to take the medicine it is making him. A former neighbor was doing this to her son, and I wanted to do something, but listened to others who said mind my business. (CONTINUED...) Report It

The boy ended up almost dying and needing a kidney transplant because of the meds. (his mom gave him more if she wanted to sleep or had "male company"--I saw her give him 4 at once one day) I did then go to police, and testified in court, and she is in jail. (CONTINUED...) Report It

My own son was prescribed Adderall, which I FLAT REFUSED to give him, but when he stayed with my mother while I had to be out of town several months for a job, the Dr talked her into it. 7 days later he almost died from it and spent 8 days in ICU and has permanent heart damage. (CONTINUED) Report It

Go to his case manager, the police, another doctor, anything you can think of. The mental hosp. may actually help, he will be seen 24/7 by experts and see he does not have ADD, and he can tell them about the adoptive mom's psychological abuse of him also. THE END NOW Report It
