Doctors,ADHD and high blood pressure? |
ok i have lots of problems like worry, memory loss, disfunctional planning, gittity feelings and my friend said, sounds like you have ADHD and i thought adhd,so i googled it and it some how explains what im having probs with, soooooooo i was wondering because i have HBP would the doctor give me anything for my supposly ADHD while im taking blood pressure medicine??? or would that impact my HBP meds? thanls luv xoxo -bubby :-) :D :p :} :] ^-^ I have high blood pressure as well. Since I was 20, I'm 25 now. i am medicated. You can take medications for any problem you have, even though you have high blood pressure. Just make sure to inform your doctor about what you are currently taking and how you are feeling, he will give you a medication that will not adversely interact with your current blood pressure medication, or he will give you two new meds that will work well together. Have no fear the doctor is here. lol, you'll be fine. I have some major medical issues and I'm on six daily prescriptions, your doctor will help you find what pills are right for you. Good luck! Exercise should help with both problems. I'm saying lessen, both problems will still be there, but Exercise should help. I know I have high blood pressure. I have never been tested for ADHD, but I have all those same symptoms as you, but I am doing much better drinking enough water and exercising every day. You don't mention age, or actual B.P. levels [ hypertensive or pre-hypertensive ] or what type of anti-hypertension drugs you take [ ace inhibitors / beta-blockers / diuretics ]. A good doctor will take all of this into consideration, but only after actually 'diagnosing' ADHD [ very difficult to do ]. I would suspect you actually have an anxiety condition as some signs of ADHD usually present in childhood. However, rest assured if you DO need meds. doctors ALWAYS take into account interaction with existing drugs. Have a chat with a health professional and / or a good counselor .... Good luck. yeah |
