ADHD and Bipolar?

my bf has adhd and bipolar...he doesn't take anything for his bipolar ( thats a good thing be is mean and upset alot more when he does) and he takes adderal for the adhd....i can't stand to be around him when hes not on his adderal he drives me crazy i don't get anything done...and all we do is fight and when he gets mad because i am i ask him to look at what hes doing: touching me, poking me, tickling me, etc..

does anyone else deal w/ a significan't other or child like this

i mean hes 21 years old its not like hes a baby!

your not right for him he wants some one he can play with its not being a kid you two wont last have fun with him stop being stuck up i hate women that think they have to be grown up all the dam time i am bipolar and i have ADHD he just wants to play with you and you dont want to play with him cause your a grown up so you got to be professnal all the time shesssssh i wouldnt be able to stand you i give him props HE LOVES YOU SO LOVE HIM BACK AND BE A DAM LOVER hint your lovers he just wants to make you happy you two wont last cause your not right for him he needs some one who he can play with that will play back instead of grow up grow down girl or you wont be together much longer

he can't help how he acts. bipolar and HDHD takes over his mind and body and theres very little he can do about. Even with medication the side effects can be awful [like you mentioned him being mean and upset]. if you can't stand his mental disorders than your relationship wont last. he cant change who he is but you can change how you feel towards him. be a little more patient with him. to him, the way he is acting is normal. to you it isnt.

He has to take his meds every day or he might as well not take them.
There are new bipolar meds that are great, and he should be taking them too.
You need to put your foot down - he's never going to get better if he acts like a child.
