My BMR is approx 1439 & today I've eaten 2432 Calories, will that gain weight? |
It's my first day on my diet to gain some weight, I'd like to add at least half a stone within a month or so. Before today, I was definitely eating less calories than my body was burning up, where as now I'm over the calorie intake my body is burning & I feel good also, just that I'm not sure I can meet the target of 3,500 Calories or as an axtra 1lb per day, 5,000 calories approx. BMR only accounts for what you need to stay alive. It does not account for activity. So if you are walking, cleaning or exercising, you will burn more calories and will have to compensate. |
