Is this a good idea for gaining weight?


drink 2 whey protein shakes a day? 1 in the morning and 1 at night... and work out every day....add any other ideas if you know of any

This is a good idea as drinking protein shakes is a great and easy way to increase you calorie intake. I would suggest that instead of drinking one at night, drink one after you workout. Whey protein is digested quickly and needed after a workout to repair your muscles. If you drink one at night, most of the protein won't be used to repair your muscles and it will be stored as fat.

To gain weight you have to eat more calories than you burn. When adding calories, try to stay away from adding too much fat. While you can get fat from eating carbohydrates or protein, your body likes to use carbohydrates as fuel more than fat. To gain muscle, in addition to eating more you have to stimulate your muscles enough through resistance training that while they recover, they'll get bigger and stronger. To get an efficient workout you might want to join a gym if you aren't already a member.

i do face the same prob wit u b4 but what did i do is i ate n sleep. it works on me very well. i gain 10kg in 6 months.

dont workout everyday that will just keep tearing your muscles down so they wont have time to repair and get bigger.
i suggest
mon weds and fri work out and days between rest

and drink a protein shake after a workout
