Why when I have an erection does it seem like the vein on the left side of my penis hurts?

This is an add-on to a previous question of mine and I've narrowed the pain down to the vein and I would like to know if anyone has expeirenced this before.

I've had this feeling before the vain hurts a lot its like my erection was to hard and cause that, that's what the doctor told me, but go get your checked out to make sure its not an infection
