Dog Allergies - Have shots helped you? |
So I absolutely LOVE dogs. I have had one for over a year, and my asthma symptoms are managable with her. Allergy symptoms are minimal, however I know that the asthma is surely allergy induced. We recently got a new puppy, and my asthma is flaring up again. I have been taking allergy shots for over a year, but recently asked to add a seperate shot just for dog. I've only been on it a few weeks. Has anyone else had allergy shots for their dog allergies/asthma? Have they helped? How long till I see results? Thanks! I am positive that my symptoms ARE being caused by the dogs. Allergy shots helped me a lot. However they took two years to start working for me and five years to get the maximum benefit. My series of shots lasted nine years. I would recommend you use the powerful antioxidant Isotonix OPC-3. It is a natural supplement containing the three antioxidants grape seed extract, red wine extract, and another powerful antioxidant called Pycnogenol which is a natural plant extract from the bark of the maritime pine tree which grows exclusively along the coast of southwest France. Pycnogenol is the main antioxidant in OPC-3 that will help with your allergies and asthma. All three antioxidants are put into one supplement hence the name OPC-3. The supplement is in isotonic form when mixed with the right amount of water so you receive superior delivery and absorption in your body. it鈥檚 isotonic capable, meaning it鈥檚 the same pH levels of the other fluids in your body such as your blood, plasma, tears, etc. isotonic capable supplements are the next best thing to IV (when doctors inject medication immediately into your blood stream) or the shots you're receiving now; when you drink a supplement that鈥檚 isotonic your stomach does not have to change it to match your body, it enters your small intestines within minutes. If your allergies are acting up, on an empty stomach once you take OPC-3 you will feel the relief within minutes becuase the body does not have to break down a pill or change the pH level, it is absorbed right away. |
