Trying to get toned up for school? |
Ok, this is the situation. I'm 15 (well pretty darn close) and I weigh 137 pounds. I'm about 5'6 or so. It's June and this summer I want to get toned up and fit for school in September. I'm trying to change my diet and eating habits, so far i have cut out soda and have started drinking water in place of it. I'm also considering going semi- vegetarian and not eating red meat. In addition to these changes I'm trying to also add some sort of exercise regimen, to help with the toning. I have been considering pilates, because I have heard that it works well with that. The main areas of my body that I am working on are my stomach (I have a little pouch) and my thigh area. It would be nice to have a more toned butt, but I guess I like it's umm size. Do you think these changes will help me get toned by September? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. i know it's old school, but Tae Bo is definitely the best bet. I have the same issue where my weight tends to go mainly to my thighs butt and stomach. last week i started doing tae bo and drank more water and i lost 5 pounds in just ONE week, plus i already noticed a little definition in my stomach and my thighs. Also, I couldnt think of a better exercise to tone up the butt. you're in a squating position for a good portion of the work-out, which flexes and tones ur butt. All the kicks are amazing for your abs too bc your flexing and you dont even know it. Plus its a killer cardio workout so ur toning and slimming. plzz tell me your man friend didnt get u started on this |
