ADD help!!? |
Possible to have more than one type of ADD?? Because I know for sure I have ADD I've been diagnosed, and I've been doing some research and I found that there are 6 different types of ADD. I was thought to have BPD but from reading more about the different types of ADD it seems that I have a lot of those in me. You might be somewhat confused by people trying to subtype ADD. Attention Deficit Disorder is one diagnosis. If you also have the hyperactive component, it's known as ADHD, which is a subtype. There might be some subtypes other docs have come up with to help more people understand their problems, but it doesn't mean there are many types of ADD. If you have been looking at SPECT images from Dr. Amen's web site, it might help you understand some additional problems you are facing, but the initial problem of ADD has to do with the drop in circulation in the pre-frontal cortex and the resulting difficulty focusing. yes, u can hav more than one type but most people just have one. you are what you think you are Officially, there are only three types of ADHD. nah, i think your just self-absorbed, self-indulgent, and narcissistic. |
