I want to add more calories into my diet w/o gaining any weight...plz help me!!?

I am 18 years old male who is currently 5'10" and 146lbs. Over about 5 months, I lost around 55 pounds. I also realized that I've been eating around 600-900 calories worth of healthy food (fruits, veggies, proteins, etc.) a day while exercising everyday for at least an hour or two (i'm afraid that i might gain weight again if i dont exercise ><). I like the shape that I am in right now and I want to maintain this weight while consuming more calories. I want to eat around 1500-1800 calories a day because that I know that is the minimum amount of calories that I need to function and I can tell because I feel I lack in energy. I know I hav slowed my metabolism so how should I start adding more calories in? Wouldn't I gain weight if I start eating that much calories all of a sudden? How do I slowly add calories back to my diet?Do I add calories day by day or by weekly? If so how much calories should I be adding each time? plz help me!! (I am eating 5 times a day and not eating after 6p.m.)

OK.

First you should add about 25-100 extra calories every other 4-6 days. You just have to give your body ample time to adjust to the extra food intake.

It is safe to eat after 6pm, but nothing huge. A healthy snack would be good and you won't gain weight. Rule of thumb is to not eat anything 2 hours before you fall asleep because your body lays flat and digests food slower. So eating a huge steak dinner would not be a good idea to eat right before bed, but a bowl of oatmeal would be OK.

Don't worry about gaining weight. You are doing enough exercise. Basically just adjust your exercise program to make sure you burn off the extra calories. (That's why you have to wait 4-6 days before adding in more calories, so your body can adjust) I would suggest looking over your exercise program and time on a fitness website to see how much calories you are burning. It maybe possible that your are exercising too much and you're burning more calories then what you have.
