ADD and head trauma?

I heard that trauma to the head and ADD are related is that true?
Also I have ADD and was hit in the head by a metal muffin pan around ages four to five, me and a couple friends had the smart idea to play frisbee with it, I had to have seven stiches. Do you think this could have caused it?
Just curious.

Some causes of ADHD seem certain: different brain activity, different brain structure, different brain chemistry, and genetic predisposition. Other causes and contributing factors are still under investigation: conditions of pregnancy and birth, toxins, attachment problems, television viewing, and more. No single cause seems to apply to everyone with ADHD (ADD). Viruses, harmful chemicals in the environment, genetics, problems during pregnancy or delivery, or anything that impairs brain development can play a role in causing the attention problems in ADHD.

no

I highly doubt it. ADD is very common and Ive never heard such a thing.

Not true....

There is no relationship between head trauma and ADHD. Known "causes" of ADHD include diet, parenting styles, attachment, brain activity, etc, but NOT head trauma.

NO,ADD is a disease, now could it cause symtoms, forgetful, can't finish task,a bad head trama, can cause numerous things.headaches, dizzy, vision blurred,if its that severve go to a dr.now.As for the ADD mine was caused by trauma,a different kind though, mental abuse,it was a slow proess, took 10 years to fully become disease, children are prone to this, why?I think lack of exercise,it clears the mind, parents work alot, attention neeeded at home, the brain manifest a disease, and its very real.If you do have ADD ask your dr.he knows you and your head injury.
