ADD question...? |
i have just been told i have ADD, im 20, but the doc doesnt want to put me on medication.... can i get the quality of life without being medicated....??? ADD is causing much frustration on my life, dont get me wrong i want to try any treatment, medication or no medication.... There are many medications out there for ADD. If you are aware of the problems having ADD is causing you you should be medicated. Discuss this further with your doctor - you do have a say. If he/she refuses to hear you out and not reconsider see another doctor. There is no reason in this day and age that someone should not have the quality of life they deserve because a doctor chooses not to utilize the medication which is out there. My daughter has ADD and has been medicated for years. She leads a normal life thanks to the meds. Here is what you do. |
