Weight Lose Question?


I recently torn my ACL and I was a very active person. Does anyone have any tips that can help me say in shape without gaining alot of weight while im stuck at home for awhile.

rYou're probably used to consuming allot of calories, as you used to need them to fuel your active lifestyle. Try to portion down, and eat healthier in general. This means eat your vegetables and fruits first, and try to reduce the amount of fried foods, and excessive amounts of carbs. I'm sure you have a physical therapy program and will be working hard to keep your body in shape. Good luck :)

I would try swimming and don't use your injured area. There are ways to do this using just your arms only.

just diet

Eat whole foods, which will provide your body with the nutrients you need for healing, and won't cause you to crave junk food which will make you fat.

Do what exercise you can, to keep your muscle tone, without stressing the area that is healing.

And drink lots of water.
