What's the best way to overcome a knee injury?

i have a serious knee injury...
a couple of monts ago i tore my ACL playing ball...

Does any1 know how i can help myself get better and back into the game without resorting to surgery

I have had 9 knee surgeries. The best thing I can tell you to do is do some light weight strengthening( nothing more than 5 #). Do several reps.(maybe 50 or 60 if you can) for one week, then increase the reps each week but not the weight unless you feel comfortable doing so. Ice it heat it etc. If this does not help after a while then you may have to have the surgery done.

Walk around a lot. Get it in shape.

No. I have never heard of NOT having the reconstructive surgery to fix it. I have heard of a lot of people getting the surgery and recovering completely. But not without.

What does your doctor say?

try doing some exercises daily and then increase them every day. That should help but if it doesnt, sorry bud u need knee surgery
