How can i lose weight without exercise?

I had acl reconstruction surgery so i cant bend my knee and wont be able to jog for about 2 more mts. the only thing i can do is crunches and ive already gain about 15 pound since i got hurt ive always been very athletic so ive never really had to deal with this Please Help!

Do weight training - Upper Body and get in a pool - there is exercise. Weights will rev up your metabolism and water is always the best remedy for any kind of injury. Just walk in the pool.
Until you can regain normal physical activity you may have to reduce your calorie intake and spike your water and vitamin intake.

Live off of water and vitamins.

ok, you may not be able to walk right now...but control your food intake.....since you're not active at the moment....drink plenty of water, eat veggies and fruits.., cut out white sugar, white bread, white rice, white flour foods, change to whole wheat bread, whole wheat rice, whole wheat flours....Fish, Chicken, Tuna.......While in bed or on couch ...along with your crunches..hold stomach in as often as you can remember to throughout the day.........I wish you a healthy speedy recovery* Best wishes*

masturbate furiously.

just kidding, you have to rely on your diet. Keep those calories low.

Starve yourself. Seriously. You have to exercise to lose weight if you want to continue to eat. Drink oolong tea, it speeds up metabolism, and yeah vitamins too.

Yes, you should be able to eat a balanced diet of 1200-1500 calories a day. You should visit a nutritionist and ask your doctor about physical therapy.

Eating actually burns some calories, so eat things low in calories- raw fruits & veggies that take a lot of chewing. Drink lots of water. Do whatever upper body aerobic activities you can do with your arms. Do stretches. Get well soon!

Watch what you eat, you will definitely have to watch calorie intake. There are a lot of exercises other than running. Moving, even talking burns calories, believe it or not, I guess what I am trying to say is stay active in a way that does not hurt your knee, my husband had this same surgery, so I kind of know what you are asking. There are things you can do without hurting your knee. It just takes time, one step at a time, that is. Lifting is another way to burn calories, if you use your imagination, there are a lot of ways to move without putting pressure on your knee.
