I am doing low carb(around 50 carbs a day), i take in about 250g of protein a day, i can't do much cardio because i have a torn acl and i wont have surgery till july so i do alot of weights and minimal walking, i workout twice a day, im 6'4 285, how much should i expect to lose a week? Hi, Mosmits! You, sir, are on the fast track to getting a kidney stone. Have fun with that. You'd better be drinking at least 2L of water a day. too much! Listen, you need to talk to your doctor about what you can and can't do. He knows what's best for your health. Under ANY weight loss program, the goal is always to lose 1 to 2 pounds a week. Slow is best. It gives your body a chance to get used to your program, and won't stress your body out. Here's a site that's free and has lots of exercise demo's you can try: This site is highly recommended - the free E-book they offer is a great kickstart when you're trying to lose weight. I would suggest a cleansing diet. I did this and lost 12 pounds and 19 inches in 9 days. I continued and lost 29 pounds in a month. I like the program since it works by giving your body nutrition through protein shakes with digestive enzymes and vitamins and then cleansing out the toxins. We get toxins in our bodies from pesticides, preservatives, water, pollution, medications, food additives etc鈥? These toxins enter our bodies and get stored in our fat cells. To shrink the fat, we need to get rid of the toxins through cleansing. The program also has a natural diet pill to help your metabolism and curb cravings. It works and it works fast. My skin has improved from the cleansing. It is pricey but worth it! I think cleansing is really important to health and weight loss.
