I have a hurt knee?

2 days ago i was acting really stupid and was jumping and diving onto the ice in front of my house, and i landed on my knee really hard. that night it didnt hurt at all because i was on "mushrooms", but the next day, it hurt sooo bad. I couldnt even bend it at all. i took 2 motrin, but it didnt help at all. i just layed on my couch all day. this morning when i woke up, it hurts even more. i think it is getting worse from walking on it. how can i tell if i have like a broken knee, or it slid out of place or that i even tore an acl? it is my lower right knee.

When I have a situation such as yours, I usually visit
http://symptoms.webmd.com/...or it could be just sore from landing on it with most of your body weight.

BTW:
Sorry to intrude, I finally found a pic of squidward...

My little brother & I were playing with my camera phone...lol.

i fall on the ice and my dad took me to the doc but it was not broken
from what u said u should go to the doc

continue to ice it. Take some Tylenol and if it isnt better tomorrow call a Dr

you probab;y broke it, dislocated it, or bruised the bone. just ice it, and when you are in the shower, try bending it and straightening it very slowly and see if that helps any but if it doesn't feel any better by tomorrow or the next day, go to the doctor bc it could be serious. hope your knee feels bttr 鈾?/div>

are you serious. you cant tell if its broken unless you get xrays. you can only guesse by symtoms. go to the docter.

Well from what you've told us you can't exactly tell what's wrong with your knee. But for example if there is pain and swelling it could be many things. If your knee looks deformed in any way it could be fractured or have several lorn ligaments. Which is a very serious problem and you should be seeing a doctor immediately! If the knee cap is swollen and is in pain with activity it could be fractured. If you have grinding it could mean you have torn cartilage. From what you have said it sounds like you could either have just a bad bruise on your knee or a fractured knee cap. I would go see a doctor if the pain is still severe
