ACL surgery Tuesday (12/4) morning is it ok to still feel really dependant on Pain pills for relife (Sun)?

Surgery Tuesday. ACL replaced, donor tendon used. Meniscus torn and also repaired. Good range of movement. Using CPM Machine 5 hours a day. On Norco. 2 every 6 hours. Barely walking w/ 2 crutches. Any one else needed the pain pills this long??? I'm feeling like a big baby!!!

Using Game Ready ice cuff also.

I've not had the kind of surgery you had but have had surgery and have had to use painkillers for 2 weeks to help keep
post-op pain under control. You are not a baby for still using this medication as you have a legitimate need for the medication.

Glad that you have good range of motion but I would like to say that please even though you may feel good enough to do some things right now please be careful how much you do so as not to overdo as it can set the recovery back a bit.

I wish you well with the recovery from your surgery.
