ACL rehab worries.?

Im 7 months into my acl rehab...using a hamstring graft. Everything has gone well so far, and im running, cycling, sprinting and so on. My consultant has told me it will take time, and i trust him. however, i cant help but have the odd worry about my knee. While everything has been good so far, im apparently only a cuple of months before i can back to normal, but my knee still feels far from normal. I guess i just cant visualise my knee becoming back to the way it was in just a coulple of months.

Also, because of the fact i dont have private health care means i cant see my consultant when i like.

Has anybody been in the same situation or got any advice.

I'm 5 months in and I'm getting strength back quickly now. I had a similar question for my PT last time I was in rehab.
She said that everything is there and I can start pushing, but my knee feels so weak.
She then went on to say that for months now the knee hasn't been the same so my body has been protecting it. Time will allow the knee to gain strength and get back to normal. Get it used to doing the things it used to do.
Rehab give you strength and the strength will give you confidence.
About a year to be normal is what I've heard.
And I've talked to numerous people that play sports and turns out they had done their knee in years past. Some say it is normal, others say they can feel it when the weather gets cold. But it's a good surgery. Give it that couple of months, if you're sprinting and running it sounds like you're doing well.

Read and apply http://www.helium.com/tm/148271 if any thing can return your knee to normal applying this process can.
