ACL Injury Rehab? |
Does anyone know where I can find a good ACL injury prevention training program? Online or somewhere else? a google search for "acl prevention program" yielded the following: http://sportsmedicine.about.com/cs/knee_... I have just had an ACL reconstruction and am currently having physiotherapy twice per week. The recovery time is 6 months plus. i tore my ACL skiing in 8th grade. (January) i had my surgery in March, i was running by July. i had surgery and rehab at the Ohio State University Medical Center. and on the plus side all the physical therapists are extremely nice!!!!! i highly recomend them! Flexibility is the key to preventing injuries. Find a good program that helps flexibility. I would recommend Pilates. It helped many football players have long successful careers. Aren't you glad someone paid attention to your question? |
