ACL Reconstruction.? |
after a 14 year old boy has the ACL surgical preceedure done, Do they usually continue to have problems the rest of their life. It all depends I guess, how long has he had his anterior cruciate ligament repaired? As a PT turned nurse, I could tell you that it really depends upon how well the surgical incisions healed. The boy could try other sports that would require less full body contact. I've seen athletes complain about their repaired ligaments- they say they're never quite healed because of course some damage has already been done. |
