ACL Replacement surgery? |
I've been scheduled for ACL replacement surgery - and this will include cleaning the joint from a shreaded Meniscuis. I'm worried about the time I will be down from surgery. I know I'm going to be out of my regular job a week but I also teach Group fitness on the side. I know it will be a minimum of 6 weeks off from this - but I'm so worried it will be longer. what was some of your expirences? (Please - honesty is really the best expirence for me!) It's really hard to say. The surgery is very different for each person. It depends on the skill of your surgeon, the level of damage you have, your own body's reaction to the surgery and how fast you heal. But if your Doc is a good one, he will be able to give you the best answers. My older brother tour his ACL about 10? months ago.. |
