Has anyone eelse had ACL surgery?? |
has anyone out there had ACL reconstruction surgery?? if so, how's your knee?? i'm 6 weeks, how much better should i be?? how long till i can play soccer again?? i used to play basketball and during a game i tore my ACL. i had surgery (this was 2 years ago) and i still have some problems onece in a while, but im goning to play ball this year.. you say its been 6 weeks..it all depends on the person i guess.. i started walking without a knee brace and finished physical therapy about 2 and a half months after my surgery.. i had my brace taken off at 6 weeks! Im 10 months post operation and just got cleared to play soccer again. work out alot thats my advice to you. Swimming, lift weights, use the bike at the gym. all i found useful and made the recovery process go by so much quicker. GOODLUCK! Report It first off it will never be the same as it was before you had your injury, i had a partial tear in my MCL,ACL and a tibia platform fracture and had 2 screws in my knee but i still have prob's with that knee when i run and its been 3 yrs |
